Hi everybody,
I am running simulation on my design and have certain number of tests, i want to know the status of test (pass or fail) from the coverage data. One method is to create a script that will search for an error in the log file and say test is failed, but i don't want to create a script. In VMM planner user guide i found some command to know the status of your test result.

"Test pass and fail results created by the Execution Manager. To
dump test pass/fail data from the Execution Manager, use the
eman vedump command." pg 12

I want to know the usage of this command, as i couldn't found it in any of user guide (may be because of new feature)

eman vedump -help says

-h, --help show this help message and exit
-p PROJECTNAME, --proj=PROJECTNAME
mandatory, existing project name must be given
-s SESSIONNAME, --ssn=SESSIONNAME
mandatory, existing session name must be given
-o OUTVEFILE, --out=OUTVEFILE
mandatory, output dump file name
-u USERMETRIC, --umetric=USERMETRIC
optional, dump user-domain test status using given
metric name. if this option is not given, dumping rman
status domain
-v PRIVATEDB, --private=PRIVATEDB
optional, if this option is not given, current user
name is automatically used to lookup private DB,
exclusive with --public
-b, --public optional, if this option is not given, using private
project DB. exclusive with --private

Can anybody elaborate what is session name, project name options

Regards
pankaj
