I am using VMM planner and i have a testplan in hvp language. I passed this plan to "hvp annotate" command in VCS and got .hvp file as output
with coverage results embedded into it. Same is true for XML input plan and XML output plan.

How can i get XML output if my input plan is in hvp language ? Is there is any way or command option to do that ?

Hi Pankaj,

As of now, VMM Planner can only dump out HVP file using XLS and Doc plans while creating annotated plans. Please send out a mail to vcs_support@synopsys.com to log this enhancement request.

But you can still use the same .hvp files to dump annotated HTML plans using URG. Command line is "urg -plan <your hvp file> -dir <coverage dir> -userdata <text files containing user defined metrics data>.
